ABOUT

BRINGING BASEBALL BACK TO THE CITY

1

2010 - 2012

Coach Michael drove to local parks and open spaces for lessons, classes, and clinics for players all over the City and Bay Area. He was saving to build the SFBA within The City, something that had never been done.

2

2012 - 2016

Our first facility was designed and built, located at 1661 Tennesse Street, unit 2W in the Dogpatch District. The SFBA called Tennessee street home for 4 years running lessons, travel ball teams, classes, and events.

3

2014

The Bridge Theater is purchased by The Aicardi Family. Plans are put in motion to work with The City to repurpose and renovate the historic building.

4

2014 - 2016

The Bridge Theater delays with plans and construction for 2 years while the SFBA still operates on Tennessee street.

5

2016

Opening Day of the San Francisco Baseball Academy at the Bridge Theater. Our dream of opening a baseball academy in a historic movie theater has become real.

6
